TERMS OF SERVICE
By booking a class, appointment, or purchasing any product or service from Lina Pilates, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. General Studio Etiquette
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled class or appointment.
For safety and focus, the studio door will be locked at the start of class. Late entry is not permitted, and no refunds or credits will be provided for missed classes.
Mobile phones must be silenced during class.
Respect fellow clients and instructors to maintain a supportive and positive environment.
2. Booking & Payment
All classes must be booked in advance via our online booking system or in-studio.
Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept credit card and approved digital payment methods.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Promotional offers are subject to separate terms and cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.
3. Reformer Class Cancellation Policy
Life happens — we understand! If you need to cancel, please do so at least 9 hours before your scheduled class:
More than 9 hours: No charge.
Less than 9 hours: Late Cancel (fees apply).
No Show: Full class fee or loss of class credit applies.
This policy applies to waitlist bookings once you’ve been moved into a class.
Fees:
Weekly Memberships: $10 AUD for Late Cancel or No Show.
Class Packs: Loss of class credit for Late Cancel or No Show.
4. Waitlist Policy
Joining the waitlist means you may be automatically added to class if a spot becomes available, up to 1 hour before the class start time.
Standard cancellation fees apply once added from the waitlist.
If you cannot attend, remove yourself from the waitlist promptly to avoid automatic booking.
Treat all waitlist bookings as confirmed to avoid last-minute surprises.
5. Pregnancy & Postpartum Policy
Clients who are pre- or postpartum must provide medical clearance from a registered practitioner before attending any class or appointment.
Prenatal clients up to 24 weeks may attend group reformer classes unless otherwise advised by their practitioner.
It is the client’s responsibility to inform Lina Pilates of any changes to health status, pregnancy stage, or medical conditions.
6. Health & Safety
By participating, you confirm you are fit and able to undertake exercise and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions.
You must follow instructor guidance at all times to reduce the risk of injury.
Lina Pilates is not liable for injuries sustained due to failure to follow instructions, pre-existing conditions, or inappropriate use of equipment.
7. Memberships & Class PackS
Memberships and class packs are non-transferable and non-refundable, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
Expiry dates are specified at the time of purchase and cannot be extended unless required by law.
8. Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their own belongings. Lina Pilates is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property while on the premises.
9. Changes, Cancellations & Studio Closure
Lina Pilates reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances.
In the event of a class cancellation by the studio, affected clients will receive a class credit or refund.
Public holiday schedules may differ and will be communicated in advance.
10. Liability Waiver
By attending any class or session at Lina Pilates, you acknowledge and accept that:
Exercise carries inherent risks, and you participate voluntarily.
Lina Pilates and its staff are released from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss, except where caused by negligence.
11. Privacy
We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By booking a class or joining our mailing list, you consent to receive communications from us, which you can opt out of at any time.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
